How has Covid-19 affected you?
After 20 years of building a career I finally got to where I needed to be and was making theatre shows, travelling internationally as Marilyn for worldwide events. I was making a very good living. Covid shut it down completely. Not only did it affect work but it affected worldwide work and travel. I lost every booking for 2020 on my book. My life and career have been impacted as I have lost all my work.

What lessons has Covid-19 taught you so far?
To take care of my mental health and health more. The strain of impact of not seeing friends and family in lockdown on top of losing my job I needed to take care of myself more. I changed diet habits and exercised more; healthy body and healthy mind.

Who do you live with?
I live alone with my cats.

What do you miss the most?
I miss people. I miss seeing my friends and hugging them.

Tell me a bit about your current situation
Currently I don’t know if my career will ever get back to where it was. Or if I can live from it as a full-time job anymore. The future is uncertain, but I always try and be positive that whilst I have life I have hope and maybe another direction in life.
